Bill Newman (1908-1909)
An all-America lineman at Cornell, Newman coached two seasons at Georgetown in 1908 and 1909 following a year on Pop Warner's staff at Carlisle.
A veterinarian by trade, Newman left coaching to work for what is now the U.S. Department of Agriculture, specializing in the eradication of infectious diseases among the wild animal population.
