• THE GEORGETOWN FOOTBALL HISTORY PROJECT
Football uniforms and jersey styles have followed a fairly traditional look at Georgetown through the years.

In the early days of football, teams generally wore one jersey regardless of a home or an away game. By the late 1930's, home and road jerseys were introduced. (Note: The Hoyas appeared to wear gray pants in the 1920's and 1930's; with the poor state of outdoor fields in this era, these could have easily been white pants at some point.)

To date, Georgetown has not introduced an alternate color jersey.

The photos below displayed in the order in which these jerseys were worn. Archival records can contain errors, so please contact us for any errors or omissions. For a review of players by number, see the alumni pages.
